USLI supports nonprofits on both a local and global level and offers various volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
Reading STARS

In conjunction with Greater Philadelphia Cares and the Philadelphia School District, our community participates in a tutoring program called Reading STARS. Reading STARS is a unique reading program structured so that anyone with a fifth grade reading level can be trained to help a student get up to speed in less than 40 hours. The reading skills of students who complete the program have improved on an average of 2.4 grade levels.

Team IMPACT

Team IMPACT is an organization that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country. Through Team IMPACT's mission, each child feels supported by something bigger, and every team is transformed by a greater purpose. Since our partnership with Team IMPACT, we have hosted fundraising events to support the organization's mission and growth across the nation.

Breastcancer.org

Breastcancer.org is a nonprofit dedicated to providing the most reliable and up-to-date information about breast cancer. Over the years, we have organized fundraising events through our October Together, formerly Baskets for Breast Cancer, initiative. USLI donates 1% of all new business premium to Breastcancer.org during Breast Cancer Awareness Month while simultaneously running online auctions for the public.

USLI is committed to making a difference through community service, fundraising and volunteering. Many of our programs focus on coaching, mentoring and building relationships with children and families in the Greater Philadelphia area. We also respond to natural disasters and other tragedies in the U.S. and overseas. Maximizing our efforts is important to us when we take action, so we always engage with our customers to see how we can make an impact together. Learn more about our impact in 2024.
